PROJECT #1: Photoshop Collage

I made this collage in class using photoshop. It took around four classes to finish and in the end I believe that it came out very well. It's filled with games, shows, people, and movies that I am interested in.
PROJECT #3: Logos

.jpg)
For my third project we had to sketch a logo and design a final logo in photoshop. I spent a lot of time designing these logos because these will be on all of my projects for the next four years. We had to make one detailed logo and one simplified logo. I decided to go with a paint splatter to signify creativity. On the left are the JPEG versions and on the right are the PNG versions.
PROJECT #5: Word Definition

For this project, we had to make a photoshop image and a video explaining the definition of an obscure/unused word. For this project, I selected the word pacable. This word means to be easily pacified. Because of this, I make an image depicting a bully punching someone in the face, but only a few minutes later, the bully brings the victim a present and the bully seems to be forgiven

My video largely depicts the same scenario with the bully stealing the victim's lunch money and then the victim forgiving the bully.
PROJECT #7: Movie Trailer

For this project, we had to take two movies that are completely different and turn it into a new made up movie. We had to make a poster and a whole trailer for the project. I used Pulp Fiction and Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle because of the connection to burgers that both films have.
PROJECT #2: Jump-Out Picture

For my second project, I had to use photoshop to make a person and animal "jump out" of the picture.
For the first picture picture I chose a dog standing up and I decided to photoshop a football in its hands.
For the second picture I chose the greatest basketball player ever, LeBron James, throwing down a dunk in the NBA playoffs.
PROJECT #4: Album Cover and Music Video

For this project, we had to insert ourselves into an album we wanted to edit. Along with that, we had to make a music video to a song on said album. I'm doing "Say It Ain't So" by Weezer off of their first self-titled album.

For the music video, I wanted to approach the lyrics as literally as possible. You can see this in scenes like the chorus when I fall at the end and on the line, "I guess I'll just close my eyes." This has been one of my favorite projects so far because I like working with music.
PROJECT #6: Marketing

For this project, we chose one item out of an assortment of around 20 dollar store gadgets and we had to think of another use for it. After we chose our product, we had to make an image on how the item is used, we had to make another image that could be used as a print ad, and finally, we had to make a full length infomercial. I chose a scalp massager and decided to turn it into an "eyewear remover."

PROJECT #8: Same Song Mashup
For this project, we had to take one song, and find seven different versions of it to turn it into one continuous song. I chose Rock Bottom by Modern Baseball and used three of the band's versions (album, live, and acoustic) and used four acoustic covers that I found on YouTube.
